Is that how you present it to an agent, in a folder? When is the conference? I’m just so excited for you!!
Did it come out the way you wanted it to or did you surprise yourself when you were writing? I want to read it soon so let that agent know you already have a reader! LOL
Thanks Jodi….the characters did take some turns that I did not expect, ones they got minds of their own! Nope, most agents you query first w/just a simple letter, sometimes with a synopsis or some sample chapters, whatever they specify on their website…and then often things are done by email now. The few that do want it snail mail, you usually send it in a manuscript box, no folders, staples, etc.
The conference is the end of next week, so I just finished under the wire! I’d say I’d have a week to breathe now, but of course I will read it just one more time to be absolutely sure I did not miss any errors….
Congratulations on accomplishing all that hard work. Good luck shopping it out.
