How About HUNTER?
If you weren’t interested in adopting Bo or Maggie (both of which are STILL up for adoption)…perhaps you might be interested in a sweet guy named Hunter?
According to the nice peoples over at the New York State Retriever Rescue, “Hunter is a beautiful senior Black lab, he’s being given up due to a move to an apartment… good with children and loves all people. No aggression at all. Will make someone a wonderfull companion. Since I got in trouble last week for insinuating peoples were lazy, this week I’m going to do what every self respecting Labrador knows how to do really well – and that’s BEG.

Good news about Gunner, I’m sure hope someone snaps Hunter up!
Me too. He sounds like a nice dog.
We already have a hunting dog. Me. But I hope he finds a home.
Do they let you hunt? Or do they worry you will get dirty? (My peoples don’t hunt either, and they have TWO hunting dogs, but just thought I should ask)
Yay for Gunner! That’s great news. Hopefully Hunter is well on his way to a new family as well. He sounds like a great dog, one who would be a terrific fireside companion as the nights grow longer.
The peoples seem to think he is nice too, I haven’t met him personally….but hey, any Lab is a good Lab I always say. Especially an older guy like me, once we are all (mostly) settled.
Yay for Gunner – I really hope Hunter finds his forever home too!!
