…because The One Called Donna has
lost her mind decided to take part in NaNoWriMo.
What the heck is that, you ask? (That’s what I asked too.) Apparently, eight writers over at The Office of Letters and Light thought it would be a good idea to try and inspire
peoples humans to be more creative by challenging them to write the first draft of a novel – or at least the first 50,000 words of it – in just one month.
Yup. You read that correctly. An entire novel. In. A. Month.
They call it National Novel Writing Month.
Personally, knowing how long it takes me to write just one blog post, I think these writers are absolutely nuts. But The One Called Donna has become smitten with the idea, because she feels it will help get her past her recent case of
laziness writer’s block.
And since she’s taking the challenge, she said she’s going to need the computer…which leaves me in the dark. I’ll try my best to sneak online once in a while to visit all of your blogs so I can keep up with the news, but I can’t promise I’ll get to them nearly as often as I have in the past. I hope you nice peoples and pups understand – and that you will be patient while The One Called Donna pursues
this idiotic time waster her goals – because I promise to be back in December to tell you what a disaster it was let you all know how she did. Plus, I’ll still be posting early next week….providing we still have power after some storm named Sandy that the peoples are all talking about.
