Bo is a dog that reminds me a lot of a young me. Handsome, active, smart – and in need of some new peoples to terrorize give him some direction. In fact, he looks so much like me that I think maybe we are somehow related.
Take a look for yourself:

BO

ME (TOBY)
Uncanny, isn’t it?
But he looks so sad, lying there on that bed, hoping for someone to notice him and give him a home. My peoples, well, The One Called Donna anyway, would adopt him in a heartbeat if they were still in the market for a fourth dog.
And you know what? I don’t think I’d mind having a new kid around to show the ropes to.
But since The One Named Nick is heartless and said no we can’t take him in, I’m hoping all you nice peoples out there will share him on facebook and your blogs and twitter even.
Here is the rest of his info straight from the New York State Retriever Rescue’s WEBSITE:

“This handsome boy wants to meet you!! He would love to have a four legged brother or sister to romp around with while he waits for his two legged friends to get home from school. This boy loves to play, play, play! He knows lots of commands and has proven to be a loyal loving companion who is eager to please – he is BIG and a goofy, goofy, goof ball, typical lab, that just needs a family to give him lots of attention and strong direction. He is just a big pup with a big heart – waiting for you to allow him into your heart and home. If you can find it in your heart to give this boy a forever home, please fill out an adoption application or call NYSRR @ 516-828-1177 or e-mail us at nysrr@yahoo.com .”
You can also share Bo’s PETFINDER PROFILE with all of your friends. Please help Bo find his furever home by not being too lazy to click “share” using all your computers out there to spread the word. And look, it’s so easy to do by using one of these handy social media buttons right below this post.

he’s a beautiful boy, there are so many that need homes. I hope he finds his!
Thanks Jodi peoples. I hope so too. I’ve been thinking about it all night and I really don’t want to share my toys with yet ANOTHER dog.
He DOES look like you! We just tweeted him…had to because my Mom’s “soul kitty” was named “Bobo”
Thanks for tweeting him Caren-peoples and Dakota!
Hope Bo finds a good home.
I hope he finds special peoples like mine who will take the time to train him and love him so they’ll see just what a great dog he can be.
One more dog and Jan will officially become a hoarder so I have had to put my paw down on any more adoptions, but he looks like a great dog.
Misty the alpha Poodle
My peoples are nearly hoarders too. It’s our big brown doggie eyes…suckers them in every time.
Sorry for Bo, but happy for us that pets can be expensive or my mom would have 100+ cats and dogs in our house! He looks super sweet so I hope he finds a home soon!
Yes….we pets try to stay expensive so we don’t have to share the resources. Try growing your own lumps that need to be aspirated every month, and then occasionally limping for no good reason. It keeps them guessing, that’s for sure.
You are right, it is crazy how much Bo looks like you! Only not nearly so happy. Thanks for sharing his story. I hope it helps him find a new home soon. Like Simon before, Bo deserves a loving, and permanent, home.
I tried to do my best “sad” face for my photo so we would look the same. I am sad for him, and I’m sure he’d be a lot happier once he finds peoples of his own. At least he’s in a foster home waiting, I had to wait in a shelter for mine to find me, and that’s no fun.
He’s a very handsome boy. Just tweeted.
Thank you Pamela-peoples!
WOW! He does look like you Toby. Nick is mean, you guys could be good buddies.
He said if we weren’t all sick all the time we could afford lots more pups (although I hope they’d be choosey since a lot of dogs don’t like me anyway).
Bo is adorable, I sure hope he finds his forever home soon:)
Yes, isn’t he adorable, handsome, stunning, and even, cute?
You definately look like you were seperated at birth! He is so lovely, please keep us informed when he finds his forever home!!
I will definitely post when he finds one.
Hey Toby,
Bo sure is a cutie – I’ve got my paws crossed he finds his forever home really soon and of course I’ll be sure to tweet him
Wags to all
Your pal Snoopy
Thanks for tweeting him Snoops. He’s cute, but not as cute as us right?
Handsome boy! Hope he finds his forever home soon.
Yup – it’s like looking in a mirror.
