Pool Party
While Meadow was resting on Saturday afternoon after her Vizsla Fun Day, my mom invited us over, and welcomed Leah and Toby to come play with her shepherds, Kayla and Luke. I decided it was a bit too hot for Leah to be running around like a fool, (plus she doesn’t like for the other dogs to play and barks at them to split them up), but it was a great way to tire Toby out after spending nearly five hours in a crate earlier that day.
Although the shepherds play-style can get a bit mouthy, (poor Toby ended up with a tiny cut on his head from Kayla mouthing him), he is used to this type of play from Leah, and it was all in good fun. Click on any of the pictures below to begin the show.

I love watching them play, although mine do get very mouthy with each other and Sampson is very verbal! LOL Glad you found a way to tire him out Donna, nothing makes me smile more than looking at my tired dog and knowing he/she had a great day.
Yeah, between fun day and the pool party, both of the sporting dogs were worn out. Leah’s my easy one when it comes to exercise…even before she got on in years.
What a great way to display all the pictures. I see a lot of these pools around but I never see children in them, only dogs.
You’re right…I never see kids in them either. Not that it’s a bad thing…less pee that way.

What a great slide show – looks like an awesome day. Your mom’s dogs are gorgeous! Poor Toby, though, does look like he got beat on a bit.
Sadly, that seems to be Toby’s lot in life. He is always getting picked on. Out of my mom’s dogs, only Kayla picks on him, and when Toby’s not there, she picks on her brother, Luke. (Which is probably why he and Toby get along so well.)
